Katharina Rosenberger
Katharina Rosenberger is a Swiss composer and sound artist currently living in the United States. She received the Reid Hall and Camargo Foundation Fellowships for 2006–2007, the 2007 Pro Helvetia composition commission and the 2006 Mediaprojects Award from Projekt Sitemapping of the Swiss Federal Agency. She is particularly known for creating interdisciplinary works that involve elements from concert music, musical theater, sonic art, and sound installation. Born in Zurich, Rosenberger studied at the Berklee College of Music prior to receiving a Master of Music degree from the Royal Academy of Music and a Doctor of Musical Arts in composition from Columbia University. In 2008, Rosenberger was named assistant professor in Composition at the University of California, San Diego. Rosenberger's work has been presented in cities around the world including London, Rome, Berlin, Prague and Marseilles. Bath International Music Festival
The Bath International Music Festival was held late each spring in Bath, South West England between 1948 and 2016. The festival included many genres such as Jazz, Classical, World and Folk and merged with the Bath Literature Festival in 2017 to create a new multi-arts festival, The Bath Festival. History Originally known as the Bath Assembly, the festival was first directed by the impresario Ian Hunter in 1948. After the first year the city tried to run the festival itself, but in 1955 asked Hunter back. In 1959, Hunter invited Yehudi Menuhin to become artistic director of the Festival, a post he held until 1968. Avignon Festival
The ''Festival d'Avignon'', or Avignon Festival, is an annual arts festival held in the French city of Avignon every summer in July in the courtyard of the Palais des Papes as well as in other locations of the city. The Zürcher Theater Spektakel (''Zürich Theatre Spectacle'') is an international theatre and performing arts festival, held annually each summer in Zürich, Switzerland.
