Kateřina Laciná
Kateřina Laciná (born 13 November 1993) is a Czech indoor and field hockey player. Life Laciná was born on 13 November 1993. Career Domestic league Laciná competes in the Belgian Hockey League for Braxgata. In 2019, Laciná moved to Australia to represent the Tassie Tigers in season one of the Sultana Bran Hockey One League. Indoor hockey Laciná made her international indoor hockey debut in 2014 at the EuroHockey Indoor Championship in Prague. Since her debut, she has represented the national team at all but one EuroHockey Indoor Championship and every edition of the FIH Indoor World Cup. During this time she has earned bronze medals at the 2015 and 2023 editions of the FIH Indoor World Cup, as well as the 2020 edition of the EuroHockey Indoor Championship. Women's Belgian Hockey League
The Women's Belgian Hockey League is the top women's league competition for field hockey clubs in Belgium. The league is played since the 1921–22 season. Gantoise are the most recent champions having won their fifth title in the 2022–23 season. Format The season usually starts in September and ends around the end of April or the beginning of May. From the 2021–22 season onwards the league is played by twelve teams who play each other twice and who compete for four spots in the championship play-offs. The number one and four and the number two and three play each other in the semi-final and the winners qualify for the final where the winner will be crowned champion. The last two teams are relegated to the National 1 and the tenth placed team plays a relegation play-off against the third-placed team in the second division. 2024 Women's FIH Hockey Olympic Qualifiers
The 2024 Women's FIH Olympic Qualifiers was the final stage of the qualification for the women's field hockey event at the 2024 Summer Olympics. It was held in Ranchi, India and Valencia, Spain between 13 and 20 January 2024. Belgium, Germany, Great Britain, Japan, Spain and the United States qualified for the Olympics. Format Teams not qualifying from the continental qualification tournament were participating in this tournament according to the respective spots received by the FIH. The 16 teams were split into two eight-team tournaments. In each tournament the eight teams were divided into two four-team pools. After the round-robin stage the top two teams advanced to the semifinals. The top three teams of each tournament qualified for the Olympics. The 2020 Women's EuroHockey Indoor Nations Championship is the 20th edition of the tournament. It takes place from 24 to 26 January 2020 in Minsk, Belarus. The 2014 Women's EuroHockey Indoor Championship was the seventeenth edition of the Women's EuroHockey Indoor Championship, the biennial international women's indoor hockey championship of Europe organized by the European Hockey Federation. It was held from 24 to 26 January 2018 in Prague, Czech Republic. The Netherlands won the tournament for the first time after defeating Germany 3–0 in the final. The 2019 Women's Sultana Bran Hockey One was the inaugural women's edition of Hockey Australia's national league, ''Hockey One''. The tournament was held across 7 states and territories of Australia. The tournament started on 29 September and culminated on 16 November 2019. The grand final of the tournament was hosted by HC Melbourne, as the top ranked team to qualify for the final. Brisbane Blaze won the tournament after defeating HC Melbourne 3–2 in a penalty shoot-out after the final finished as a 1–1 draw.
