Kate Murtagh
Kate Murtagh (October 29, 1920 – September 10, 2017) was an American actress and singer-comedian, a native of Los Angeles, California. Early life Kate Murtagh's parents were both musicians of accomplishment. Her mother, born Wootson Davis in Sikeston, Missouri, moved to New York City in the early 1910s to further her vocal training. By 1914 she married Henry B. Murtagh. He was a nationally-prominent theater organist, pianist, conductor, and composer who held a series of important posts in major U.S. cities. An early position was a 1920-22 contract at the Liberty Theater in Portland, Oregon. In a 1920 competition, he was selected to write music for Oregon’s state song, which was adopted in 1927. By September 1920 Henry B. Murtagh was engaged at Grauman's in Los Angeles. His several years in Buffalo began in April 1924 at the city's Lafayette Square theater. ''Daniel Boone'' is an American Action (genre), action-Adventure (genre), adventure television series starring Fess Parker as Daniel Boone that aired from September 24, 1964, to May 7, 1970, on NBC for 165 episodes, and was produced by 20th Century Fox Television, Aaron Rosenberg, Arcola Enterprises, and Fespar Corp. Ed Ames co-starred as Mingo, Boone's Cherokee friend, for the first four seasons of the series. Albert Salmi portrayed Boone's companion Yadkin in season one only. Country Western singer-actor Jimmy Dean was a featured actor as Josh Clements during the 1968–1970 seasons. A tabula ansata or tabella ansata (Latin for "tablet with handles", plural ''tabulae ansatae'' or ''tabellae ansatae'') is a tablet with dovetail handles. It was a favorite form for votive tablets in Imperial Rome. Overview ''Tabulae ansatae'' identifying soldiers' units have been found on the ''tegimenta'' (leather covers) of shields, for example in Vindonissa ( Windisch, Switzerland). Sculptural evidence, for example on the metopes from the Tropaeum Traiani (Adamclisi, Romania), shows that they were also used for the same purpose on the shields. Modern era ''Tabulae ansatae'' have been used by modern artists from as early as the 15th century, as shown on the tomb of Charles, Count of Maine, attributed to Francesco Laurana, in Le Mans Cathedral. ''Breakfast in America'' is the sixth studio album by the English rock band Supertramp, released by A&M Records on 29 March 1979. It was recorded in 1978 at The Village Recorder in Los Angeles. Supertramp
Supertramp were an English rock band that formed in London in 1969. Marked by the individual songwriting of founders Roger Hodgson (vocals, keyboards, and guitars) and Rick Davies (vocals and keyboards), they are distinguished for blending progressive rock and pop styles as well as for a sound that relied heavily on Wurlitzer electric piano. The group's lineup changed numerous times throughout their career, with Davies being the only consistent member throughout the decades. Other longtime members included bassist Dougie Thomson, drummer Bob Siebenberg, and saxophonist John Helliwell. The band were initially a prog-rock group, but starting with their third album, ''Crime of the Century'' (1974), they began moving towards a more pop-oriented sound.
