Kate Ford
Kate Ford (born 29 December 1976) is an English actress. She is known for her portrayal of Tracy Barlow in the ITV soap opera '' Coronation Street'' (2002–2007, 2010–present). Ford was born in Salford, Greater Manchester. She attended Queen Elizabeth School in Kirkby Lonsdale, Cumbria and Blackpool and The Fylde College, Lancashire. She later trained at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art. Career Kate’s earliest work is in the music video for The Beatles song "Free as a Bird" in 1995. Some years later in 2002, she appeared in a spin-off episode of the popular BBC1 soap opera '' EastEnders'' which revolved around the characters of Ricky Butcher and Bianca Jackson. The City of Salford () is a metropolitan borough within Greater Manchester, England. The borough is named after its main settlement, Salford. Bianca Jackson
Bianca Jackson (also Butcher) is a fictional character from the BBC soap opera ''EastEnders'' played by Patsy Palmer. The character was introduced by executive producer Leonard Lewis and appeared initially from 1993 to 1999, when Palmer opted to leave. In 2002 executive producer John Yorke brought the character back for a special spin-off show. She returned to ''EastEnders'' as a full-time character in April 2008, reintroduced by executive producer Diederick Santer. Palmer took maternity leave in 2010 and Bianca left the series in January 2011. Bill Ward (born 5 May 1967) is an English actor. He is known for his soap opera roles as Mike Parker in Eastenders Charlie Stubbs in ''Coronation Street'' and James Barton in ''Emmerdale''. Early life Ward was educated at Oundle School and Bristol University where he obtained a degree in Modern British History, and worked as an advertising executive before beginning his professional acting career in the 1980s. Career He acted widely in theatre and television, joining the cast of ''Coronation Street'' in 2003, portraying local builder Charlie Stubbs, until 2007 when his character was killed by Tracy Barlow after a domestic abuse storyline.
