''Katapult'' is the twenty-seventh album by the Finnish experimental rock band Circle. It was released on CD and limited vinyl by No Quarter Records in 2007. The album has a clear black metal influence, displaying a fondness for the harsh guitars and rapid drums of bands such as Immortal and Celtic Frost Celtic Frost () was a Swiss extreme metal band from Zürich. Panic is the twenty-sixth album by the Finnish experimental rock band Circle. It is one of the most idiosyncratic albums of Circle's long and varied career. It comprises eleven tracks. The first three are synthesizer-based ambient music pieces. These are followed by six short punk songs. Finally, the last two tracks are the almost silent "Tunnel" and the 15-minute drone piece "And Far Away". A sticker on the CD case describes the band as "Finland Speed-Kraut Pioneers" and refers to a list of obscure Finnish bands. Black metal is an extreme metal, extreme subgenre of heavy metal music. Immortal (band)
Immortal is a Norwegian black metal band from Bergen. The group was founded in 1991 by frontman and guitarist Abbath Doom Occulta (Olve Eikemo) and guitarist Demonaz Doom Occulta (Harald Nævdal). The pair worked with various drummers (including Grim, Armagedda and Hellhammer), and were later joined by former drummer Horgh (Reidar Horghagen) in 1996. In March 2015, long-serving member Abbath announced his departure from the group following a dispute with the other members of the band, and he went on to form a new band under his name called Abbath. It was initially reported that following Abbath's departure, the band would split up. However, In August 2015, Demonaz and Horgh said that the band would continue without Abbath.
