Kasu (film)
''Kasu'' () is a 2006 Indian Tamil language romantic drama film directed by Gowri Manohar. The film stars Rahman, Sangeetha and Rajashree, with S. S. Chandran, Charle, Rizabawa, Poornam Viswanathan, Mamukkoya, Sobaran and Bonda Mani playing supporting roles. The film, which began production in 1998, was released on 29 December 2006. Plot Karan arrives in Kerala with his best friend Sandy to meet the businessman Dileep. At his office, the employees tell them that Dileep is abroad and the two friends decide to stay in Kerala until his return. Karan then comes across Prarthana on multiple occasions and they eventually fall in love with each other. Upon his return, Karan meets Dileep and Dileep refuses to help him. Karan discovers that Prarthana is Dileep's sister. Dileep proposes Karan a deal: either Karan marries his sister without any dowry or Karan takes a huge sum to let go of his sister. Rahman (actor)
Rashin Rahman (born 23 May 1967) is an Indian actor. He has worked in around 200 films, primarily in Malayalam cinema, in addition to Tamil, Hindi and Telugu cinema, and has won several awards. In Tamil and Telugu cinema, he is also known by the screen names Raghuman and Raghu. He made his acting debut in ''Koodevide'' (1983), for which he won his first Kerala State Film Award for Second Best Actor, becoming the youngest recipient of the award at the age of 16. He was a popular teen idol in Malayalam cinema during the 1980s, which heightened his stardom in Malayalam film industry. He eventually shifted to playing lead roles in Tamil and Telugu films during the late 1980s and early 1990s. Starring Srikanth, Sangeetha and Samvrutha Sunil, the film revolves around a woman who falls in love with her brother-in-law after the demise of her husband. The film was released on 30 June 2006. Anuradha Sriram (born 9 July 1970) is an Indian carnatic and playback singer and child actress who hails from the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.
