Kasper Asgreen
Kasper Asgreen (born 8 February 1995) is a Danish cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Asgreen won the 2021 edition of the Tour of Flanders by defeating Mathieu van der Poel in a sprint finish. Early life Asgreen was born in Kolding in the south of Denmark. He competed in dressage up to the age of 14, before joining Kolding Cycling Club. Career Asgreen signed for Danish Continental cycling team in 2016. In the same year, he finished second in the U23 event at the Danish National Time Trial Championships, as well as finishing second in the senior event. In 2017, he won the U23 time trial at the Danish National Championships, alongside the U23 event at the European Road Championships. Asgreen signed for World Tour team in April 2018 and began riding with the team in the same month. European Road Championships
The European Road Cycling Championships are the set of European championship events for the various disciplines and distances in road cycling and have been regulated by the European Cycling Union since 1995. The championships are for under-23, junior (since 2005) and Elite riders (since 2016). The championships include a road race and an individual time trial since 1997, with women's events shorter than men's and junior's events shorter than under-23's. The 2019 Deutschland Tour was a road cycling stage race that took place between 29 August and 1 September 2019. This year's edition of the Deutschland Tour was the 34th edition and was rated as a 2.HC event as part of the 2019 UCI Europe Tour. Gianni Moscon (born 20 April 1994) is an Italian professional cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . He competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics, in the road race. Early life and career Moscon grew up in the apple farms north of Trento in Trentino in the north of Italy. This led to him being given the nickname "Il Trattore", which translates to "The Tractor". Fabio Jakobsen (born 31 August 1996) is a Dutch cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Career During the 2019 Vuelta a España Jakobsen won two stages, including the final stage of the race on stage 21 in Madrid. A few metres before the finish of the 1st stage in the 2020 Tour de Pologne he heavily crashed after Dylan Groenewegen deviated from his line, forcing Jakobsen into the barriers. The race doctor initially reported that Jakobsen had suffered several major injuries, including serious brain trauma and damage to the upper respiratory tract, a broken palate, and heavy blood loss, and was in life-threatening condition. Scheldeprijs
The Scheldeprijs is a cycling race in Flanders and the Netherlands which starts in Terneuzen, crosses the Scheldt River, and finishes in Schoten. Until 2018 it was held entirely in Belgium.
