Kashtanova (Kyiv Light Rail)
Kashtanova ( uk, Каштанова) is a station on the Livoberezhna Line of the Kyiv Light Rail system. It was opened on May 26, 2000 and reopened after a significant modernization of the line on October 26, 2012. Kashtanova is located in between the Teodora Draizera and Romana Shukhevycha stations. The Livoberezhna line is the second line of the Kyiv Light Rail, located in the eastern part of Kyiv. The tram corridor was opened on May 26, 2000, rebuilt from 2010 to 2012, and reopened again on October 25, 2012. Trams No 4 and No 5 run along the Livoberezhna Line. At one point, the Kyiv City Administration proposed extending the Kyiv Metro system to Troieschyna by creating the Livoberezhna Line, although this proposal was scrapped in 2014 in favor of keeping the light rail system. A side platform (also known as a marginal platform or a single-face platform) is a platform positioned to the side of one or more railway tracks or guideways at a railway station, tram stop, or transitway. Kyivpastrans is a municipal company that operates public transport in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. Its operations include electric trams, city buses and trolleybuses. It also operates the Kyiv Funicular and some urban rail lines. Kyivpastrans was established on October 2, 2001, by the Kyiv City Council to replace KP "Kyivelektrotrans" and the Kyiv City Territorial-Production Union of Automobile Transport. Romana Shukhevycha (Kyiv Light Rail)
Romana Shukhevycha ( uk, Романа Шухевича; from 2000 to 2008, Vatutina; from 2008 to 2022, Henerala Vatutina) is a station on the Livoberezhna Line of the Kyiv Light Rail system. It was opened on May 26, 2000 and reopened after a significant modernization of the line on October 26, 2012. Romana Shukhevycha is located in between the Kashtanova and Troieschyna-2 stations. Livoberezhna line ( uk, Лівобережна лінія; literally ''left bank line'') was a proposed fifth metro line of the Kyiv Metro system, which was planned to serve the left bank neighborhoods of the Ukrainian capital Kyiv. The line is typically colored sky blue on the maps. The line was proposed to have a transfer station with metro lines which would connect them to the city's right bank, including the Livoberezhna station of the Sviatoshynsko–Brovarska line and a future undecided station of the Podilsko–Vyhurivska line which is currently under construction. The line was also to have featured connections with existing intercity railway stations.
