Karunarathne Diulgane
Karunarathna Divulgane (born Herath Mudiyanselage Karunarathna) is a popular and renowned Sri Lankan vocalist, and served as the Governor of the North Central Province between 2006 and 2015. He was born to a farming family who had been living for generations in Divulgane, a small village in the Kurunegala District Kurunegala is a district in North Western Province, Sri Lanka. North Central Province ( si, උතුරු මැද පළාත ''Uturumæda Paḷāta'', ta, வட மத்திய மாகாணம் ''Wada Maththiya Mākāṇam'') is one of the nine provinces of Sri Lanka, the first level administrative division of the country. Rajarata Sevaya
Rajarata ā dja ra tə(Meaning: King's country) ( Sinhala: රජරට) (Tamil: ரஜரட) was one of three historical regions of the island of Sri Lanka for about 1,700 years from the 6th century BCE to the early 13th century CE. Several ancient cities, including Tambapanni, Upatissa Nuwara, Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa, were established as capitals within the area by successive rulers. Rajarata was under the direct administration of the King (raja/king, rata/country). Two other areas, Malayarata and Ruhunurata, were ruled by the king's brothers "Mapa" and "Epa" .
