Karol Sakr
Karol Etienne Sakr ( ar, كارول إتيان صقر, alternative spelling Carole Sakr or Carole Saqr; born August 11, 1969) is a Lebanese singer who is most known for her English songs back in the 1980s. She is the daughter of the Lebanese Maronite Christianity in Lebanon, Maronite exiled politician Etienne Saqr, Etienne Sakr, a former member of the Lebanese Forces and leader of the far-right Guardians of the Cedars. Carole Sakr gained fame as the lead singer for the Lebanese music band "ZED". ZED was a music duo project consisting of Carole and music composer Hadi Sharara. Together they released an album entitled ''Away'' in the early 1990s, which included singles like "My One 4 Everything", part of the song being also used as a promotional jingle for Radio One (Lebanon), Radio One Lebanon, "Shout" and the title track "Away" for which a vid was shot and aired on local TV stations. Zahlé
Zahlé ( ar, زَحْلة) is the capital and the largest city of Beqaa Governorate, Lebanon. With around 150,000 inhabitants, it is the third-largest city in Lebanon after Beirut and Tripoli and the fourth largest taking the whole urban area (the Jounieh urban area is larger). Pascale Etienne Sakr ( ar, باسكال إتيان صقر; born September 23, 1964) is a Lebanese singer. She was born in Zahlé, Lebanon to Maronite parents from Ain Ebel, south of Lebanon. She performs a leading character in many musicals. She graduated from law school in 1987. Biography She is also the daughter of Lebanese nationalist Etienne Sakr, a former member of the Lebanese Forces and Leader of the Far-Right Guardians of the Cedars and to Alexandra Sakr. Melhem Barakat ( ar, ملحم بركات; 15 August 1945 – 28 October 2016), also known as Melhim Barakat, or Abou Majd was a Lebanese singer, songwriter, and melodist. Barakat was a well-renowned singer in Lebanon and the wider Arab world. He toured Australia, South America, Canada, and the United States. Early life Barakat was born on 15 August 1945, in Kfarshima, Lebanon. He inherited his affinity for music from his father, who was a carpenter and taught Melhem how to play the oud.
