Karmen Joller
Karmen Joller (née Palts; born 3 January 1976) is an Estonian family doctor, advocate for evidence-based medicine, and politician. She is a member of the Riigikogu. In 2019 and 2020, '' Eesti Päevaleht'' (''Estonian Daily'') included Joller in the list of the most influential people in Estonia. Biography Joller graduated from the University of Tartu Faculty of Medicine in 2001 and completed her residency in family medicine in 2005. Joller has worked as a family doctor at various healthcare centres, including OÜ Meditiim from 2005 to 2006, and Telliskivi Perearstikeskus from 2006 to 2016. Since 2016, she has been a family doctor at Kivimäe Perearstikeskus. She is also a member of the Estonian Society of Family Doctors. Additionally, from 2016 onwards, Joller has been a lecturer at the University of Tartu. Political career On 23 November 2022, Karmen Joller joined the Estonian Reform Party. Rakvere
Rakvere is a town in northern Estonia and the administrative centre of the Lääne-Viru ''maakond'' (county), 20 km south of the Gulf of Finland of the Baltic Sea. Rakvere is the 8th most populous urban area in Estonia. Rakvere has a total area of 10.75 square kilometres, and although about 15% of it is covered by forest, the city is still populated so densely as to make it the third most densely populated city in Estonia. Lasnamäe
Lasnamäe is the most populous administrative district of Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. The district's population is about 119,000, the majority of which is Russian-speaking. Local housing is mostly represented by 5–16 stories high panel blocks of flats, built in the 1970–1990s. The district lies in the eastern part of Tallinn. In the east it is bordered by the Pirita River; in the north and northwest a limestone escarpment (part of the Baltic Klint) separates Lasnamäe from Pirita and Kesklinn. The district is situated on a flat limestone plateau that lies 30–52 m above sea level. The highest point in Lasnamäe is the Sõjamägi Hill at 54 m asl. Pirita
Pirita is one of the eight administrative districts ( et, linnaosa) of Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. Pirita occupies a relatively big area, but compared to other districts of Tallinn its population of 17,592 (as of 1 November 2014) is relatively small. It mostly consists of private houses, instead of the large blocks of flats typical of some other districts of Tallinn, such as Lasnamäe and Mustamäe. Large parts of the district consist of newly built, modern buildings and houses. Pirita Beach is located in Pirita.
