Karlova Studánka
Karlova Studánka (german: Bad Karlsbrunn) is a spa a municipality and village in Bruntál District in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 200 inhabitants. The village is well preserved and is protected by law as a village monument zone. Geography Karlova Studánka is located about northwest of Bruntál. It lies in the Hrubý Jeseník mountain range. The highest point is the rock Rolandův kámen at above sea level. The village is situated in a valley of the Bílá Opava river, a tributary of the Opava. Karlova Koruna Chateau
Karlova Koruna (german: Karlskrone) is a château in the town of Chlumec nad Cidlinou in the Czech Republic. History The château was built for František Ferdinand Kinský in 1721–23. Construction was completed in time for King Charles VI's coronation. František Ferdinand Kinský invited the king to the château and named the castle after the king (Karlova Koruna means ''Charles' crown'' in English). Originally, there was a stronghold as nobleman seat in Chlumec nad Cidlinou town, and the first mention in a source-books is from 1424 when the stronghold was conquered by the warrior Boček of Poděbrady. In the beginning of the 16th century a new renaissance fortification was built. The Kinský family obtained this property in the beginning of the 17th century and kept it till 1948. Karlova is a neighbourhood of Tartu, Estonia. It has a population of 8,856 (as of 31 December 2013) and an area of . History Excavations in the Karlova area have revealed traces of a Stone Age settlement. The Karlova-type stone ax is named after the district. Before the urbanization, Karlova Manor was located in the area, the most famous owner of which in the 19th century was Faddei Bulgarin, a Russian writer of Polish origin, during which time the manor became the center of local Russian cultural life. Until the unification of Karlova with the city of Tartu in 1916, the building requirements of the city did not apply there, therefore numerous cheap wooden apartment buildings were built there and the location was given the derogatory nickname Pilpaküla. Karlova Ves ( hu, Károlyújfalu, german: Karlsdorf) is a borough in the city of Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. It is located in the western part of the city close to the river Danube on the slopes of the Little Carpathians mountains and it is part of the Bratislava IV administrative district.
