Karlos Vémola
Karel "Karlos" Vémola (born July 1, 1985) is a Czech-British professional mixed martial artist, former bodybuilder, amateur wrestling, wrestler and member of Sokol. A professional competitor since 2008, he became historically the first Ultimate Fighting Championship, UFC fighter from the Czech Republic, and has also competed for UCMMA. Background Karel Vémola (Jr.) began training in Greco-Roman wrestling at the age of six under the leadership of his father Karel Vémola and Vojtěch Smolák in Olomouc Sokol of which he is still a member. From the age of 10 until 16, Vemola won six national wrestling titles, and is also a one-time winner of the Czech Republic Wrestling Team Championship as a youth team member of the Krnov wrestling team. Haná
Haná or Hanakia ( cs, Haná or ''Hanácko'', german: Hanna or ''Hanakei'') is an ethnographic region in central Moravia in the Czech Republic. Its core area is located along the eponymous river of Haná (river), Haná, around the towns of Vyškov and Prostějov, but in common perception it roughly corresponds to the whole Upper Morava (river), Morava Vale, with Olomouc as its natural centre. Ultimate Challenge MMA (also referred to as UCMMA) is a mixed martial arts promotion based in the United Kingdom. It is shown live on London Live in the UK, Fight Now TV in the US and on Viewster in several other countries. History The collapse of EliteXC was quickly followed by Cage Rage with its final show Cage Rage 28 in 2008. The 2011 England riots, more widely known as the London riots, were a series of riots between 6 and 11 August 2011. Thousands of people rioted in cities and towns across England, which saw looting, arson, as well as mass deployment of police and the deaths of five people. The protests started in Tottenham Hale, London, following the death of Mark Duggan, a local man who was shot dead by police on 4 August. Several violent clashes with police followed Duggan's death, along with the destruction of police vehicles, a double-decker bus and many homes and businesses, which rapidly gained the attention of the media.
