Karl Simpson
Karl Edward Simpson (born 14 October 1976 in Newmarket, Suffolk, Newmarket) is a former professional footballer. He was a midfielder who began his career with Norwich City F.C., Norwich City before he was released by the Canaries and moved into non-league football. Simpson was sent off on his debut for Norwich on 20 September 1995 in a Football League Cup match against Torquay United F.C., Torquay at Carrow Road. Simpson had a stint as player manager and manager at Sinjun's Grammarians in the AFC league in london. Newmarket is a market town and civil parish in the West Suffolk district of Suffolk, England. Located (14 miles) west of Bury St Edmunds and (14 miles) northeast of Cambridge. It is considered the birthplace and global centre of thoroughbred horse racing. Torquay ( ) is a seaside town in Devon, England, part of the unitary authority, unitary authority area of Torbay. Carrow Road
Carrow Road is an association football stadium located in Norwich, Norfolk, England, and is the home of EFL Championship side Norwich City. The stadium is located toward the east of the city, near Norwich railway station and the River Wensum. Norwich City FC originally played at Newmarket Road before moving to The Nest. When The Nest was deemed inadequate for the size of crowds it was attracting, the Carrow Road ground, named after the road on which it is located, was purpose-built by Norwich City in just 82 days and opened on 31 August 1935. The stadium has been altered and upgraded several times during its history, notably following a fire that destroyed the old City Stand in 1984.
