Karl-Ludvig Bugge
Karl Ludvig Erlingsøn Bugge (1 September 1915 – 1987) was a Norwegian actor, screenwriter and journalist. He attended Frogner School and was russ president here in 1934. In 1941 he wrote a play for Centralteatret, ''Fortunas sønn Peter'', in which he also played a small part. After the Second World War he combined a journalist job in ''Morgenbladet'' with jobs as an actor and stagewriter at Centralteatret. His last play, ''Det kunne ha vært deg'' was staged at over 150 locations in the Nordic countries. It was also made into a 1952 comedy film. He acted in the 1955 film ''Bedre enn sitt rykte''. From the 1950s he wrote in ''Aftenposten'', using the pen name "Tittern". He was also press secretary for Nationaltheatret for five years and steward in the gentlemen's club Det Norske Selskab for twenty years. His last book was 1978's ''Bekkimellom'', a nature depiction. Frogner School
Frogner School ( no, Frogner Høiere Almenskole and subsequently ''Frogner Realskole og Gymnas'', commonly known as ''Frogner skole'') was a secondary school at Frogner in Oslo, Norway. The school was a continuation of the Gjertsen School, which had been founded in 1869. Gjertsen School moved from St. Olavs Plads to Niels Juels Gade at Frogner in 1899 and was renamed Frogner School in 1900. The school included a ''Realskole'' and a '' Gymnasium'', which prepared pupils for the university entrance exam. As it was a private school and located in the wealthy borough of Frogner, and also because few people attended either ''Realskole'' or ''Gymnasium'' in those times, it almost exclusively served the higher bourgeoisie. The school was sold to Christiania municipality in 1918, and was closed in 1970. The ''russefeiring'' ( en, "russ celebration") is a traditional celebration for Norwegian high school pupils in their final spring semester. Pupils that take part in the celebrations are known as russ. Students in high school normally prepare for this celebration from the start of the year. Russ celebrations normally happen before the final term exam for the high school students before they are off to university or college. Russ have different ways off celebrating this very day, some people purchase big buses with more than 20 people partying all night and some other people go for the more cheaper or more idle version like buying a van or a car.
