Karl-Heinz Kunde (6 January 1938 – 15 January 2018) was a German racing cyclist. Life Born in Cologne, Kunde started his cycling career in 1959 as amateur. In 1962 he became professional. His biggest success was in the 1966 Tour de France, where he wore the yellow jersey for five days. This was even more special considering he received hardly any support from his team mates. He was speaker of the NATO detachment in Siauliai and the German detachment of EUFOR RD Congo in Kinshasa/ DR Congo. Karl-Heinz Riedle (; born 16 September 1965) is a German former professional footballer who played as a striker. Despite not being particularly tall, he was nicknamed "Air" throughout his career, due to his notable heading accuracy, jumping and timing skills in the air, as well as his ability to make runs into the box and get on the end of crosses, and made a name for himself as a traditional yet well-rounded and prolific centre forward.
