Karina Manta
Karina Manta (born March 20, 1996) is an American former competitive ice dancer. Early life Manta was born on March 20, 1996 in Olympia, Washington. She began figure skating in 2002. Career Manta previously competed in ice dance with Jonathan Thompson. Manta has partnered with ice dancer Joseph Johnson (figure skater), Joseph Johnson since 2013. The team is coached by Patti Gottwein in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Colorado Springs, of the United States. Manta and Johnson received their first Grand Prix assignment in 2018, competing at 2018 Skate America, Skate America. They finished in 10th place with a total score of 139.33. On April 18, 2019, Manta announced that she was stepping away from competitive figure skating. She and Johnson plan to move to Montreal in June and join Cirque du Soleil. Ernesto Lecuona
Ernesto Lecuona y Casado (; August 7, 1896 – November 29, 1963) was a Cuban composer and pianist, many of whose works have become standards of the Latin, jazz and classical repertoires. His over 600 compositions include songs and zarzuelas as well as pieces for piano and symphonic orchestra. In the 1930s, he helped establish a popular band, the Lecuona Cuban Boys, which showcased some of his most successful pieces and was later taken over by Armando Oréfiche. In the 1950s, Lecuona recorded several LPs, including solo piano albums for RCA Victor. He moved to the United States after the Cuban Revolution and died in Spain in 1963. Early years Lecuona was born in Guanabacoa, Havana, Cuba, Kingdom of Spain, to a Cuban mother and a Canarian father. Christopher Colin Dean, OBE (born 27 July 1958) is a British ice dancer who won a gold medal at the 1984 Winter Olympics with his skating partner Jayne Torvill.
