Karina Bryant (born 27 January 1979) is a British retired elite judoka, who was active in elite senior competition in the 2000s and early 2010s. She represented Great Britain at four successive Olympics between 2000 and 2012, winning her first Olympic medal, a bronze, in Judo at the 2012 Summer Olympics – Women's +78 kg, the heavyweight event at her final Games, the Judo at the 2012 Summer Olympics, 2012 Summer Olympics in London. is a Japanese ''tarento'' and former football player. She played for the Japanese national team. Since her retirement, Maruyama has been active as a television personality, represented by the talent agency Horipro. Club career Maruyama was born in Ota, Tokyo on 26 March 1983.
