Karin Hindsbo
Karin Hindsbo (born 1974) is a Danish art history, art historian and museum director. She has been the director of the Tate Modern in London since September 2023. She was previously the director of the National Museum of Art, Architecture and Design in Oslo, Norway. Early life and education Hindsbo studied at Aarhus University and Humboldt University of Berlin, Humboldt Universität zu Berlin. She graduated as cand.mag. in art history and history of ideas from Aarhus University in 2002. Career Hindsbo was assigned with ''Institut for Samtidskunst'' in Copenhagen from 2002 to 2005, and also served as a lecturer at the University of Copenhagen from 2003 to 2006. Ingrid Røynesdal (born 1978) is a Norwegian museum director. She has been director of the National Museum of Norway since 2023. Sørlandets Art Museum
The Southern Norway Art Museum () is located in Kristiansand, Norway in the building that until 1970 hosted the Kristiansand Cathedral School. The museum is a foundation, and it was created in 1995, with the counties of Aust-Agder and Vest-Agder as initiators together with the municipality of Kristiansand and the Kristiansand Art Gallery. The museum is working with both art and crafts. The foundation will work to create interest, awareness and competence in relation to the visual arts, crafts and other visual forms of expression.
