Karim Al Abed Darwich ( ar, كريم العبد درويش; born 2 November 1998) is a footballer who plays as a forward for club Ansar and the Lebanon national team. Club career Early career Coming through the youth system, Darwich made his senior debut with Viktoria Berlin on 13 March 2017, as a 73rd-minute substitute in a 2–0 Regionalliga Nordost win against Carl Zeiss Jena in the 2016–17 season. Darwich played for SV Altlüdersdorf in the Oberliga Nord during the 2017–18 season, making nine appearances and scoring twice. Nejmeh On 3 January 2018, Darwich moved to Lebanese Premier League side Nejmeh; he scored two goals in five matches in the 2017–18 Lebanese Premier League. The 2018–19 Lebanese Premier League season began on 21 September 2018 and concluded on 21 April 2019. 2018–19 was the 58th season of the Lebanese Premier League, the top Lebanese professional league for association football clubs in the country, established in 1934. The Lebanon Cup (), commonly known as the Lebanese FA Cup, is a Lebanese football annual cup competition. The first edition, held in 1937, was won by Nahda. The most successful club in the competition is Ansar with 15 titles, followed by Nejmeh with seven. Ansar have also contested the most finals with 20, followed by Nejmeh with 16. The 2020 AFC U-23 Championship qualification was an international men's under-23 football competition which decide the participating teams of the 2020 AFC U-23 Championship. A penalty shoot-out (officially kicks from the penalty mark) is a tie-breaking method in association football to determine which team is awarded victory in a match that cannot end in a draw, when the score is tied after the normal time as well as extra time (if used) have expired. In a penalty shoot-out, each team takes turns shooting at goal from the penalty mark, with the goal defended only by the opposing team's goalkeeper. Each team has five shots which must be taken by different kickers; the team that makes more successful kicks is declared the victor. Shoot-outs finish as soon as one team has an insurmountable lead. If scores are level after five pairs of shots, the shootout progresses into additional " sudden-death" rounds.
