Karen Patricia Simpson (born August 28, 1967) is an American politician who is a member of the Maryland House of Delegates for District 3 in Frederick County, Maryland. Background Simpson graduated from Paint Branch High School in 1985. She later attended Radford University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology in 1989, and Towson University, where she earned a Master of Arts degree in community counseling in 1996. Simpson first ran for the Maryland House of Delegates in District 31B in 2018. Maryland, Maryland's Legislative District 3 is one of 47 districts in the state for the Maryland General Assembly. It covers part of Frederick County, Maryland, Frederick County. Brian Chisholm (politician)
Brian Alan Chisholm (born November 7, 1970) is an American politician who represents northern Anne Arundel County in the Maryland House of Delegates. A member of the Republican Party, he represented District 31B from 2019 to 2023, afterwards representing the 31st district. Early life and education Chisholm was born in Madison, Wisconsin, and graduated from Severna Park High School in Severna Park, Maryland. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing from Clemson University. Political career Chisholm was a member of the Pension Oversight Commission of Anne Arundel County, Maryland from 2015 to 2018. He was vice-chair of the commission from 2017 to 2018. Incineration is a waste treatment process that involves the combustion of substances contained in waste materials. Industrial plants for waste incineration are commonly referred to as waste-to-energy facilities. Incineration and other high-temperature waste treatment systems are described as "thermal treatment".
