Karen Price
Karen Elaina Price (born July 17, 1960) is an American model, actress, stunt woman and television producer. She is sometimes credited as Karen Castoldi. She was ''Playboy'' magazine's Playmate of the Month in January 1981. Her centerfold was photographed by Ken Marcus. Career After she became a Playmate, Price started acting, but soon switched to performing stunts for over two dozen movies including ''Leonard Part 6'' (1987), '' Police Academy 2: Their First Assignment'' (1985), and ''The Golden Child'' (1986). After a hiatus, she began a new career as an associate producer of television programs such as ''Amazing Vacation Homes'' (2004) and ''Amazing Babies'' (2005). Price made a cameo appearance of sorts in the early Mel Gibson film ''The Road Warrior'' - her centerfold is pasted onto a tailfin of Gyro Captain's Benson gyrocopter. ''Leonard Part 6'' (also known as ''Leonard Part VI'') is a 1987 American spy parody film. It was directed by Paul Weiland and starred Bill Cosby, who also produced the film and wrote its story. The film also starred Gloria Foster as the villain, and Joe Don Baker. The film was shot in the San Francisco Bay Area. It earned several Golden Raspberry Awards; Cosby himself denounced and disowned it in the press in the weeks leading up to its release. An autogyro (from Ancient Greek, Greek and , "self-turning"), also known as a ''gyroplane'', is a type of rotorcraft that uses an unpowered rotor in free autorotation to develop lift (force), lift. Forward thrust is provided independently, by an engine-driven propeller. While similar to a helicopter rotor in appearance, the autogyro's rotor must have air flowing across the rotor disc to generate rotation, and the air flows upwards through the rotor disc rather than down. The autogyro was invented by Spanish engineer Juan de la Cierva in an attempt to create an aircraft that could fly safely at low speeds. He first flew one on 9 January 1923, at Cuatro Vientos Airport, Cuatro Vientos Airfield in Madrid. Ken Marcus (born October 2, 1946) is an American Photographer, best known for his glamour photography with ''Penthouse'' and ''Playboy'' magazines. For over 40 years he has produced hundreds of centerfolds, editorials, album covers, and advertisements. His work is shown in galleries, published in books and magazines. He was chosen as Artist-In-Residence at the Yosemite National Park Museum. For many years, Marcus has lectured and produced professional workshops in the US and Internationally. Early life and education Marcus's formal fine-art photographic training began at age 12.
