Karel Krejčí
Karel Krejčí (born 20 December 1968) is a Czech football manager and former player who was the manager of Czech Republic U-21. He was born in Plzeň. Playing career Krejčí played in the Czech First League in the 1990s, representing FC Svit Zlín, 1. FK Příbram and České Budějovice. His last First League match was three minutes in a 7–0 loss to Sparta Prague. Managerial career Following his career as a player, Krejčí became coach of Příbram reserve football team. Krejčí joined Czech First League side Plzeň as manager in April 2008 for the end of the 2007–08 Czech First League after Levý´s departure. In new season he became assistant of new head coach Jaroslav Šilhavý and later Pavel Vrba. Plzeň (; German and English: Pilsen, in German ) is a city in the Czech Republic. About west of Prague in western Bohemia, it is the Statutory city (Czech Republic), fourth most populous city in the Czech Republic with about 169,000 inhabitants. Czech First League
The Czech First League, known as the Fortuna liga for sponsorship reasons, is a Czech professional league for football clubs. At the top of the Czech football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. Seasons typically run from August to May, most games are played on Saturdays and Sundays with few games played on Fridays. All Fortuna liga clubs qualify for the Czech Cup. The history of the Czech football league began with its reorganization for the 1993–94 season following the dissolution of Czechoslovakia and therefore the league became the successor of the Czechoslovak League. 2015–16 Czech First League
The 2015–16 Czech First League, known as the Synot liga for sponsorship reasons, was the 23rd season of the Czech Republic's top-tier football league. Defending champions Viktoria Plzeň won the league for a second consecutive season, winning their fourth Czech title as a result. Teams Sigma Olomouc, the 2014–15 FNL champion, returned to the First League just one season after their relegation. Runner-up FK Varnsdorf were not promoted as their stadium failed to meet the league requirements. Instead, FC Fastav Zlín rejoined the top level for the first time since the 2008–09 season. Miroslav Koubek (born 1 September 1951) is a Czech Republic, Czech former goalkeeper and Manager (association football), manager. Coaching career Koubek coached several Czech clubs. He placed second with FC Zenit Čáslav in Czech 2. Liga, Czech Second League in 2008–09 Czech 2. Liga, 2008–09 season. In the 2009–10 Czech First League, he led FC Baník Ostrava to the third place in the league table. Pavel Vrba (born 6 December 1963) is a Czech football manager and former player. He is known for applying an offensive football philosophy in the teams he coaches. As a player, Vrba played for several clubs including Baník Ostrava. As a coach, he led several Czech and Slovak clubs, including a Czech First League record of five seasons in charge of FC Viktoria Plzeň, whom he led to two league titles, one cup title, and three consecutive seasons of participation in the UEFA Europa League knockout stage – a record for any Czech club. Jaroslav Šilhavý
Jaroslav Šilhavý (; born 3 November 1961) is a Czech football manager and former player. He is the coach of Czech Republic. As a player, Šilhavý made a total of 464 top flight appearances spanning the end of the Czechoslovak First League and the beginning of the Czech First League, scoring 25 goals. His 464 appearances was a Czech league record until 6 November 2022, when Šilhavý was surpassed by Milan Petržela with 465 appearances. His son, Tomáš Šilhavý, also played football in the Czech First League. As a manager, Šilhavý won the 2011–12 Czech First League with FC Slovan Liberec.
