Karel Dostál
Czechoslovakia, formally the Czech and Slovak Federative Republic, competed at the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville, France. The team consisted of 74 athletes, which was the largest number at that time. It was the last time Czechoslovakia participated in the Winter Olympics, because the state split to Czech Republic and Slovakia and both countries entered their independent teams to the 1994 Winter Olympics. Otakar Janecký
Otakar Janecký (born 26 December 1960 in Pardubice, Czechoslovakia) is a retired Czech ice hockey forward. Career In his homeland Janecký represented HC Pardubice, his birthcity team for his entire Czechoslovak Extraliga and Czech Extraliga career. Janecký represented Jokerit in the Finnish SM-liiga for several seasons, and his number, 91, has been retired by Jokerit. Janecký also played SM-liiga for SaiPa and Blues. He played on the 1992 Olympic bronze medal-winning team from Czechoslovakia. Otakar Janecký is Jokerit's all-time leader in assists, second in points and all-time playoffs leader in points and assists. Richard Šmehlík
Richard Šmehlík (born January 23, 1970) is a Czech former professional ice hockey defenceman who played in the National Hockey League (NHL). He was drafted in the fifth round, 97th overall, by the Buffalo Sabres in the 1990 NHL Entry Draft. Šmehlík joined the Sabres for the 1992–93 season, and played there for nine seasons. He left via free agency for the Atlanta Thrashers before the 2002–03 season. At the trade deadline of the 2002–03 season, Šmehlík was traded to the New Jersey Devils in exchange for a draft pick. Šmehlík would go on to win the Stanley Cup that season with the Devils. He retired following the season. In his NHL career, Šmehlík appeared in 644 games, tallying 49 goals and adding 146 assists. Jiří Šlégr
Jiří Šlégr (; born 30 May 1971) is a Czech former professional ice hockey defenceman, and was a member of the 2001–02 Detroit Red Wings Stanley Cup championship team after being acquired in a late-season trade. Šlégr was inducted into the Czech Ice Hockey Hall of Fame on December 12, 2019. In 2010, Šlégr, a candidate of the Czech Social Democratic Party, was elected into the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic. Bedřich Ščerban (born 31 May 1964, in Jihlava) is a Czech former professional ice hockey defenceman. He competed at three Winter Olympics. Ščerban began his career with HC Dukla Jihlava of the Czech Extraliga in 1986. In 1991, he moved to Finland's SM-liiga, spending one season with Tappara before moving the Sweden's Elitserien with Brynäs IF. František Procházka
František Procházka (25 January 1962 – 27 April 2012) was a Czech ice hockey defenseman who played on the 1992 bronze medal-winning Olympic ice hockey team for Czechoslovakia. Career Procházka began his career with TJ CHZ Litvínov and played for the team from 1980 to 1990. He then moved to Finland's SM-liiga with Jokerit for one season before joining EHC Freiburg of the Eishockey-Bundesliga in Germany. Ladislav Lubina
Ladislav Lubina (11 February 1967 – 13 September 2021) was a Czech ice hockey player and coach. He was drafted by the Minnesota North Stars in the 11th round of the 1985 NHL Entry Draft, but never played in the National Hockey League (NHL). Playing career He started to play ice hockey on high level in town of Hradec Králové, then he came to HC Pardubice in 1984–85 and spent over 20 seasons in Czech Extraliga (Czechoslovak). Igor Liba (born November 4, 1960, in Prešov, Czechoslovakia) is a Slovak former professional ice hockey player, who played on the 1992 Bronze Medal-winning Olympic Hockey team for Czechoslovakia, and lives in Košice, Slovakia. Robert Lang (ice Hockey)
Robert Lang (born December 19, 1970) is a Czech former professional ice hockey player. Drafted by the Los Angeles Kings in the fifth round, 133rd overall, at the 1990 NHL Entry Draft, Lang made his NHL debut with the team in the 1992–93 season. He has also played in the NHL for the Boston Bruins, Pittsburgh Penguins, Washington Capitals, Detroit Red Wings, Chicago Blackhawks, Montreal Canadiens and Phoenix Coyotes, with whom he retired with in 2010. Kamil Kašťák (born 8 May 1966) is a Czech former ice hockey player. Career Kašťák played in the Czech Extraliga for Dukla Jihlava, HC Litvínov, HC Sparta Prague and HC Plzeň. He also played in the Swedish Elitserien for HV 71, the SM-liiga in Finland for Lukko and finished his career in Germany for the Lausitzer Füchse.
