Kareem Joseph (footballer Born 1983)
Kareem Joseph (born 12 April 1983) is a Trinidadian footballer who plays as a defender or midfielder for Caledonia AIA in the TT Pro League. He has scored 48 league goals during his entire career, all with Caledonia AIA. Early life Joseph was born in Morvant, Trinidad and Tobago and attended Malick Secondary School in Trinidad along with future Caledonia AIA team-mate Devorn Jorsling. Kareem featured predominantly as one of a handful of right-wingers that provided service to standout striker Jorsling. During his school days, Kareem was given the nickname ''Tiny'' due to his small physique. Club career Caledonia AIA Kareem began his professional career with Caledonia AIA of the TT Pro League, having signed with his hometown club in 2000. The 2008 Trinidad and Tobago FA Trophy was the 79th season of the FA Trophy, which is the oldest football competition for teams in Trinidad and Tobago. The Ato Boldon Stadium is an athletics and football stadium located in Balmain, Couva, Trinidad and Tobago. It is currently the home ground of Central and Club Sando. The Caribbean Club Championship, also known as the CFU Club Championship or CFU Club Champions' Cup, was an annual international football competition held amongst association football clubs that are members of the Caribbean Football Union (CFU). The Trinidad and Tobago League Cup, or commonly known as the First Citizens Cup for sponsorship reasons, is the League Cup style football competition open for Trinidad and Tobago teams competing in the country's TT Pro League. Similar to the FA Trophy, it is played on a knockout (single elimination) basis in September and October towards the beginning of each Pro League season. Unlike the FA Trophy, where 36 teams enter each season from the top three tiers of the Trinidad and Tobago football league system and the Secondary Schools Football League, only teams from the TT Pro League compete in the league cup.
