Karachi Lahore (film Series)
''Karachi Lahore'' is a series of Pakistani road comedy romantic films directed by Wajahat Rauf and written by Yasir Hussain. The first film of the series was released in 2015. Karachi Se Lahore, featured an ensemble cast including Shehzad Sheikh and Ayesha Omer playing lead roles. Whereas Javed Sheikh, Yasir Hussain, Ahmed Ali Akbar, Eshita Syed, Aashir Wajahat, Mantaha Tareen Maqsood and Rasheed Naz all played supporting roles. In its opening weekend, the film collected Rs. 2 crores at the local box office and at the end of its run, film reached the benchmark of Rs. 10.30 crores. It became the first Pakistani film to be premiered in Hollywood. After the success of the first film the spin-off sequel titled Lahore Se Aagey was released in 2016. Yasir Hussain
Yasir Hussain ( ur, ) is a Pakistani screenwriter, actor, playwright and host from Islamabad best known for his comic roles. He hosted '' The After Moon Show'' on Hum TV. He is also known for playing the antagonist in the 2018 social drama ''Baandi''. Life and career Born into a Rajput family from Azad Kashmir, he's the youngest in a family of twelve siblings, including a sister who's a Dubai-based singer, Schumaila Hussain, and who has more recently gained attention for singing the OSTs of dramas '' Muqabil'' and '' Khamoshi'', while she has also done works for Lollywood and Bollywood, and a brother who's a scriptwriter. ''Na Maloom Afraad'' (lit. ''Unidentified People''), is a 2014 Pakistani action comedy film co-written and directed by Nabeel Qureshi in his directorial debut. It stars Javed Sheikh, Fahad Mustafa, Mohsin Abbas Haider with supporting cast of Urwa Hocane, Kubra Khan and Salman Shahid. The story follows Shakeel (Sheikh), Farhaan (Mustafa) and Moon (Haider), three poor struggling individuals who chase every possible means of becoming rich, all getting into trouble as they struggle to fulfill their desires and ambitions through questionably moral ways. Most of the ''Na Maloom Afrad'' shots were filmed in real locations of Saddar Town, maintaining the authenticity of scenes and staying true to actual content; many elements of post-production required consideration before principal photography. ''Jawani Phir Nahi Ani'' (), sometimes abbreviated as ''JPNA'' is a 2015 Pakistani adventure comedy film directed by Nadeem Baig. It was co-produced by Humayun Saeed, Salman Iqbal and Shahzad Nasib at Saeed's production house, Six Sigma Plus. It is the first installment in the ''Jawani Phir Nahi Ani'' film series, The film stars Humayun Saeed, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Ahmad Ali Butt, Vasay Chaudhry and Mehwish Hayat. The supporting cast includes Sohai Ali Abro, Jawed Sheikh, Ismail Tara, Bushra Ansari, Ayesha Khan, Sarwat Gillani and Uzma Khan. The film is about a single man who is a divorce lawyer.
