Karachaus Lagoon ( uk, Карачаус, ro, Caraceauş) is a salty lagoon in the Tuzly Lagoons group in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi Raion of Odesa Oblast, Ukraine. It was a part of the Alibey Lagoon in past, locating in its south-west part, near the village of Roylianka. Hlyboka River
Hlyboka ( uk, Глибока; German and pl, Hliboka; ro, Adâncata) is an urban-type settlement in Chernivtsi Raion, Chernivtsi Oblast of western Ukraine. It hosts the administration of Hlyboka settlement hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Population: History Hlyboka is mentioned for the first time in 1438. A lagoon is a shallow body of water separated from a larger body of water by a narrow landform, such as reefs, barrier islands, barrier peninsulas, or isthmuses. Tuzly Lagoons ( ua, Тузловські лимани, ro, Limanele Tuzlei) are a group of marine lagoons (liman (landform), limans) in southern Bessarabia (Budjak), Ukraine. The lagoons are part of the Tuzly Lagoons National Nature Park, proclaimed on January 1, 2010. The name of the lagoons originates from the tr, Tuzlu, which means salty. Alibey Lagoon ( uk, Алібей, ro, Limanul Alibei, tr, Alibey Gölü) is a salty lagoon (liman (landform), liman) on the Black Sea coast of Tatarbunary Raion of Odessa Oblast, Ukraine. The lagoon is originated from the old mouth of the Khadzhyder River. The length of the lagoon is 15 km, width 11 km, area 72 km2. The depth is 2.5 m. The lagoon is separated from the sea by sandbar.
