Roe Deer
The roe deer (''Capreolus capreolus''), also known as the roe, western roe deer, or European roe, is a species of deer. The male of the species is sometimes referred to as a roebuck. The roe is a small deer, reddish and grey-brown, and well-adapted to cold environments. The species is widespread in Europe, from the Mediterranean to Scandinavia, from Scotland to the Caucasus, and east to northern Iran and Iraq. Toto Karaca
İrma Felekyan, better known as Toto Karaca (18 March 1912 – 22 July 1992), was a Turkish stage actress. Of Armenian descent, Felekyan was born on March 18, 1912 in the Ottoman Empire. Her mother was Mari Hranuş Felekyan. She learned ballet dancing in her childhood. During her performances in musicals, she preferred the name İrma Toto. Her surname became Karaca when she married theatre actor Mehmet Karaca in 1939, due to the legislation then in force. Their son Cem Karaca became a leading figure in Anatolian rock music. In the 1930s, she performed in Ömer Aydın's operettas. She was among the founders of the Istanbul Theatre in 1960. Karaca Dağ
Karaca Dağ ( ku, قهرهژداخ, ) is a shield volcano located in eastern Turkey. It was also known as Mount Masia. Which in turn was used to give the title of an iris found on the mountain, as '' Iris masia''. On 6 March 2006, reported that the Max Planck Institute for Plant Breeding Research in Cologne had discovered that the genetically common ancestor of 68 contemporary types of cereal still grows as a wild plant on the slopes of Mount Karaca (Karacadag). The results strongly suggest that slopes of Karaca Dağ provided the site for the first domestication of einkorn wheat approximately 9,000 years ago. The area of Karaca Dağ was gifted to Ertuğrul Gazi by the Seljuk Sultan of the Sultanate of Rum, Sultan Kayqubad I, after bravely fighting in the Battle of Yassıçemen. Yasin Karaca (born 16 December 1983) is a Turkish former footballer who played as a midfielder. Career Karaca was born in Paal, Belgium to ethnic Kurdish parents originally from Iğdır, Turkey. Mehmet Karaca was the rector of Istanbul Technical University (ITU). He was born in Istanbul on 17 September 1957. He is a member of the Department of Geology and the Eurasia Institute of Earth Sciences at İstanbul Technical University. He is also head of Climate and Marine Sciences Group at Eurasia Institute of Earth Sciences.
