Kara Project
''Kara Project'' was a 2014 South Korean reality television program starring the girl group Kara. It aired on MBC Music from May 27 – 1 July 2014. The program centred around the search to find a new member of Kara, following the departure of its members Nicole and Jiyoung. Seven trainees from DSP Media participated in the show, competing to become part of the group. The winner of the competition was Heo Young-ji Heo Young-ji (born August 30, 1994), better known mononymously as Youngji, is a South Korean singer, dancer, entertainer and television personality. She is best known as a member of girl group Kara after winning the TV show ''Kara Project'' in ..., who became Kara's new member. On February 24, 2015, contestant Ahn So-jin was found to have died from apparent suicide one month after DSP ended their contract with her. Heo Youngji
Heo Young-ji (born August 30, 1994), better known mononymously as Youngji, is a South Korean singer, dancer, entertainer and television personality. She is best known as a member of girl group Kara after winning the TV show ''Kara Project'' in 2014, which saw her become the newest member of the group. Heo began her solo music career in August 2017 with her first single, "Memory Clock". Career Pre-debut Heo attended School of Performing Arts Seoul. South Korean Reality Television Series

April () was a South Korean girl group formed by DSP Media. The group debuted on August 24, 2015, with their EP '' Dreaming'' and its title track "Dream Candy". The group's final lineup was composed of six members: Chaekyung, Chaewon, Naeun, Yena, Rachel and Jinsol. The group officially disbanded on January 28, 2022. Name The group name is made up of 'A' and 'pril'. 'A' means 'the best girl group' and 'pril' means lovely girls. As combined, 'April' makes the meaning of 'the best, lovely girls'. Kard (, stylized K.A.R.D or KARD) is a South Korean co-ed group formed by DSP Media. They are composed of members J.Seph, BM, Somin, and Jiwoo. They officially debuted on July 19, 2017, with their extended play '' Hola Hola''. History Pre-debut Somin was previously a member of DSP Media's Japan-based girl group Puretty, which disbanded two years after its debut in 2012. She later joined ''Kara Project'', where she competed to become a new member of KARA and finished in second place. On August 24, 2015, she debuted as leader of DSP Media's girl group April, but she decided to depart from the group on November 9. Yoon Chae-kyung
Yoon Chae-kyung (born July 7, 1996), is a South Korean singer and actress. Yoon began her career with debuted as a member of Puretty under DSP in Japan during 2012 and the group later disbanded in January 2014. Following the disbandment, Yoon appeared as a contestant in the 2014 Kara's reality show for searching a new member ''Kara Project''. She also appeared in the reality show ''Produce 101'' and later in the mockumentary series ''The God of Music 2'' which she became a member of project group C.I.V.A and also joined the fan-made group of ''Produce 101'', I.B.I both respectively in 2016.
