''Kapag Puno Na ang Salop'' () is a 1987 Filipino action film directed by Arturo San Agustin and starring Fernando Poe Jr. (also producer), Eddie Garcia, Paquito Diaz, Jose Romulo, Dencio Padilla, Roy Alvarez, and Rowena Moran. Produced by FPJ Productions, the film was released on November 26, 1987. Critic Luciano E. Soriano of the ''Manila Standard'' gave the film a positive review, praising the dialogue and Poe and Garcia's performances which elevate its formulaic plot. Fernando Poe Jr
Ronald Allan Kelley Poe (August 20, 1939 – December 14, 2004), known professionally as Fernando Poe Jr., and often referred to by his initials FPJ, was a Filipino actor, film director, producer, screenwriter, and politician. Typhoon Nina, known in the Philippines as Typhoon Sisang, was the most intense typhoon to strike the Philippines since Typhoon Irma in 1981. Typhoon Nina originated from an area of convection near the Marshall Islands in mid-November 1987. It gradually became better organized, and on November 19, was first classified as a tropical cyclone. Moving west-northwest, Nina attained tropical storm intensity that evening. Late on November 20, Nina passed through the Chuuk Lagoon in the Federated States of Micronesia. After a brief pause in intensification, Nina intensified into a typhoon on November 22.
