Kaoteon
Kaoteon is an extreme metal band, based in the Netherlands, officially formed in 1998 by Anthony Kaoteon. Biography Kaoteon is an extreme metal band with origins in Lebanon. The band was formed in war torn Beirut as a one-man band in 1998 by Anthony Kaoteon under the name Chaotaeon (from the merger of "chaotic" and "aeon"). They changed their name after an incident with the authorities in which they got arrested. The police thought that "Chaotaeon" was the translation of "devils" from Arabic. The members were detained for days during a heavy investigation which led to false accusations that the band is Satanic. Kaoteon released ''Damnatio Memoriae'' on 23 February 2018 that featured Frederick Widigs on drums (Marduk) and Linus Klausenitzer on bass ( Obscura). On 24 February 2018 the band performed at Complexity Fest with The Faceless and Sikth, and were joined by Simon Schilling (ex-Belphegor and current Marduk drummer). Linus Klausenitzer
Linus Klausenitzer is a German bass player, best known for being a former bassist for the German progressive death metal band Obscura. He also plays bass in a German/Dutch progressive death metal band Noneuclid, as well as progressive death metal project Alkaloid along with current and former members of both Obscura and Noneuclid. Biography At the age of 19, Klausenitzer attended the Music College in Regensburg, and afterwards made a degree at Hamburg Music and Art University. After finishing studies, he did a lot of session work in different genres, and in the meantime, was in a number of different German bands, Fall of Serenity being the most well-known one. He was also a member of Noneuclid, a German/Dutch progressive death metal band. He first joined Obscura as a touring bassist in 2011 and not shortly afterwards, Klausenitzer was announced as the band's new bassist. Osmose Productions is a French independent record label created in 1991 by Hervé Herbaut, after he had spent three years running a small mail order company. Obscura is a German technical death metal band from Landshut, founded by guitarist and vocalist Steffen Kummerer in 2002. The band have released six studio albums, a compilation album and twelve music videos since its formation. Their latest album '' A Valediction'' was released on 19 November 2021 via Nuclear Blast. Adrian Erlandsson (born 27 October 1970) is a Swedish heavy metal drummer who is a member of At the Gates (1990–1996, 2007–2008, 2010–), the Haunted (1996–1999, 2013–), and Nemhain (2006–). He has also been a member of H.E.A.L. (1994–1996), Hyperhug (1994–1996), Decameron (1997), Cradle of Filth (1999–2006), Needleye (2006–?), Brujeria (2006–2013), Netherbird (2007–2010), and Paradise Lost (2009–2016). Belphegor is an Austrian blackened death metal band from Salzburg. They originally formed in 1991 under the name Betrayer before changing their name in 1993, deriving their current name from the demon Belphegor. History Early years (1991–1997) Belphegor was founded as Betrayer in 1991 by vocalist and bassist Maxx, guitarists Helmuth and Sigurd, and drummer Chris. The band released their first demo ''Kruzifixion'' in April 1991, and ''Unborn Blood'' later on. The Faceless are an American technical death metal band from the Encino neighborhood of Los Angeles. They released their debut album, ''Akeldama'', in November 2006, and a follow-up, '' Planetary Duality'', in November 2008. The band's third album, '' Autotheism'', was released on August 14, 2012.
