Kao kakao ( eng. ''Like Cocoa'') is ninth album of Macedonian rock group Leb i sol. It contains 9 songs. Biggest hits from this album are Mamurni ljudi (''Hungover again''), Čuvam noć od budnih (''Night watchman''), Čekam kišu (''I'm waiting for the rain'')… It was released in 1987 by Jugoton. The album was accompanied by videos for the Mamurni ljudi and Skopje (recorded in Macedonian for the first time). In 1999, album won Porin Award for Best Reissue. In 2006, Jugoton successor Croatia Records released this album on CD as part of Leb i sol box set. Background During 1986, Vlatko Stefanvoski and Bodan Arsovski composed the music for TV show Bušava azbuka (eng. Shaggy alphabet). Bastion member Ana Kostovska performed songs along with them. Goce Micanov and another Bastion member, Kiril Dzajkovski joined the group. Drummer Garabet Tavitijan made comeback in group after 6 years. Leb I Sol
Leb i sol ( mk, Леб и сол) is a Macedonian and former Yugoslav rock group founded in the 1970s by Vlatko Stefanovski (guitar), Bodan Arsovski (bass guitar), Nikola Kokan Dimuševski (keyboards) and Garabet Tavitjan (drums). Tavitjan ceded the drumwork to Dragoljub Đuričić for some of the albums, while Kiril Džajkovski replaced Kokan on ''Kao Kakao'' and ''Putujemo''. Beside being the most eminent Macedonian band, they were also one of the most important acts of the Yugoslav rock scene. History "Leb i sol" is a traditional greeting which literally translates to "bread and salt". It is often used as an expression of spite or determination; e.g. "I will eat ''bread and salt'' if I have to, but I will not give in!", but that has nothing to do with the band's name. FC Vardar
FK Vardar Skopje ( mk, ФК Вардар Скопје), or simply Vardar, is a football club based in the capital city of Skopje, North Macedonia. The club was founded in 1947 and currently competes in the Macedonian Second Football League. Đorđe Balašević
Đorđe Balašević ( sr-Cyrl, Ђорђе Балашевић; 11 May 1953 – 19 February 2021) was a Serbian and Yugoslav singer and songwriter, writer, poet and director. He began his career in the late 1970s as a member of the band Rani Mraz, transitioning after two albums to a solo career. He first gained mainstream prominence for writing Rani Mraz's hit "Računajte na nas" (Count on Us), which was often described as an anthem of a generation. Noted for his vivid lyricism and poetry, Balašević was also known for weaving political commentary into his songs and live performance. Broadly supportive of South Slavic unity in late 1970s and early 1980s, in the lead up to the Yugoslav wars he began to criticise the authorities. "Walk Like an Egyptian" is a song recorded by the American band the Bangles. It was released in 1986 as the third single from the album ''Different Light''. It was the band's first number one single, being certified gold by the RIAA, and became ''Billboard'''s number-one song of 1987. Composition Liam Sternberg said he was inspired to create the song while on a ferry crossing the English Channel. When the vessel hit choppy water, passengers stepped carefully and moved their arms awkwardly while struggling to maintain their balance, and that reminded Sternberg of the depiction of human figures in ancient Egyptian tomb paintings. He wrote the words "Walk like an Egyptian" in a notebook. Eugène Henri Paul Gauguin (, ; ; 7 June 1848 – 8 May 1903) was a French Post-Impressionist artist. The trumpet is a brass instrument commonly used in classical and jazz ensembles.
