Kantha (film)
''Kantha'' is a 2013 Tamil-language drama film directed by Babu Viswanath. It stars Karan and Mithra Kurian in the lead roles. The film was released after a five-year delay, in March 2013. Karan (actor)
Karan (born 19 August 1969) is an Indian actor who has appeared predominantly in Tamil and Malayalam films. He started his career as a child actor (under the stage name Master Raghu). In the 1990s he started to act in leading and villain roles. In the mid-2000s, after a sabbatical, Karan chose to prioritise appearing in films where he would portray the lead role following the relative success of '' Kokki'' (2006). Career Karan started his career as child artist under the name ''Master Raghu'' for more than 70 films in Malayalam and Tamil. ''Jay Jay'' is a 2003 Indian Tamil-language romance film written and directed by Saran. The film stars R. Madhavan, Amogha and Pooja, while Kalabhavan Mani, Charle, Dhamu and Malavika Avinash also play key supporting roles. Produced by V. Benny Dayal
Benny Dayal (born 13 May 1984) is an Indian playback singer. He is a prominent singer in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Bengali, Gujarati and Marathi and more languages films. Harini Ramachandran, professionally known as Megha (born 18 March 1987) is a Tamil playback singer, singing predominantly in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. Ranjith K. Govind (born 21 February 1977), also known as K.G. Ranjith, is an Indian playback singer, working in the Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada film industries and has sung more than 2500 songs. Malathi
Sahayaseeli Pedhuruppillai, alias Malathi (or Malathy), is the first female fighter of the Tamil Tigers to die in combat, hence revered as the first female martyr. Her death anniversary is commemorated as ''Women's Awakening day''.
