Kanta Gupta
Chander Kanta Gupta (8 October 1938 – 27 March 2016) was a Canadian distinguished professor of mathematics at the University of Manitoba, known for her research in abstract algebra and group theory. Much of her research concerns the automorphisms in different Variety (universal algebra), varieties of groups. Rajani Kanta Barman (; born 2 February 1979) is a retired Bangladeshi international footballer who played as a defender for Muktijoddha Sangsad KS. He is former Bangladesh national football team player and has a total of 70 appearances during his 13 yearlong international career. Subhrangsu Kanta Acharyya (born 27 November 1940) is an Indian geologist and a former director general of the Geological Survey of India. He is known for his geological studies of the Himalayas and the Indo-Burmese belt which assisted the later-day hydrocarbon and mineral explorations in the region. Born in Mymensingh of the present-day Bangladesh, he has served as a professor at Jadavpur University. S. K. Snehangshu Kanta Acharya, Bar at Law (1 September 1913 – 27 August 1986) was an Advocate General of West Bengal, India and a political leader.
