Kano State Polytechnic is a Nigerian Tertiary Institution located in Kano, North-Western Nigeria. Established in 1975, which is regulated by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) the polytechnic is made up of five schools(faculties) : School of Technology, School of Management Studies, School of Environmental Studies, School of Rural Technology and Entrepreneurship Development, School of General Studies. Kabiru Bello Dungurawa
Kabiru Bello Dungurawa is a Nigerian academician, administrator, and the Rector of Kano State Polytechnic. Early life and education Kabiru was born on 10 March 1973, at Dungurawa Village, of Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area, of Kano State. He attended Dungurawa Primary School, Kano between 1977 and 1983, he also attended Government Junior Secondary School, Kwa between 1983 and 1986, he also attended Dutse Teachers College (Grade II) between 1986 and 1989, Kabiru obtained National Certificate in Education from Federal College of Education Katsina Between 1995 and 1998 he also obtained Bachelor of Arts in Hausa and Master of Education in Guidance and Counselling from Bayero University Kano 2003 and 2009 respectively, Kabiru also obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Guidance and Counselling from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, in 2014. Kano (Ajami: كانو) is a city in northern Nigeria and the capital of Kano State. It is the second largest city in Nigeria after Lagos, with over four million citizens living within ; located in the Savanna, south of the Sahel, Kano is a major route of the trans-Saharan trade. Kano State (Hausa: ''Jihar Kano''جىِهَر كَنوُ) (Fula: Leydi Kano 𞤤𞤫𞤴𞤣𞤭 𞤳𞤢𞤲𞤮𞥅 ) is one of the 36 states of Nigeria, located in the northern region of the country. National Board For Technical Education
The National Board for Technical Education, otherwise known as NBTE, is a board of education which supervises, regulates and oversees educational programmes offered by technical institutions at secondary, polytechnic and monotechnic levels through an accreditation process. It was established by Act No 9 of 11 July 1977 with the aim of "providing standardised minimum guide curricula for Technical and Vocational Education and Training".
