Accipitridae
The Accipitridae is one of the three families within the order Accipitriformes, and is a family of small to large birds with strongly hooked bills and variable morphology based on diet. They feed on a range of prey items from insects to medium-sized mammals, with a number feeding on carrion and a few feeding on fruit. The Accipitridae have a cosmopolitan distribution, being found on all the world's continents (except Antarctica) and a number of oceanic island groups. Some species are migratory. The family contains 255 species which are divided into 70 genera. Many well-known birds such as hawks, eagles, kites, harriers and Old World vultures are included in this group. The osprey is usually placed in a separate family (Pandionidae), as is the secretary bird (Sagittariidae), and the New World vultures are also usually now regarded as a separate family or order. Andrew Kania (born December 7, 1967) is a former Canadians, Canadian Member of Parliament (Canada), Member of Parliament for the electoral district (Canada), electoral district of Brampton West, in Ontario. Kania was elected in the 2008 Canadian federal election, winning as the Liberal Party of Canada, Liberal Party candidate in the riding vacated by Liberal Colleen Beaumier. Kania was a member of the Standing Committee on Public Safety and National Security; the Liaison Committee, which has a supervisory role over all parliamentary committees; and also the House Joint Chair of the Standing Joint Committee for the Scrutiny of Regulations. Madhukar Hiralal Kania (18 November 1927 – 1 February 2016) was an Indian judge who became the 23rd Chief Justice of India, serving from 13 December 1991 until his retirement on 17 November 1992. He was born in Bombay. His uncle was Sir Harilal Jekisundas Kania, the first Chief Justice of India. Kania was educated at Fellowship School, St. Xavier's High School, Elphinstone College and the Government Law College, Mumbai. He enrolled as an Advocate on 1 November 1949 at Bombay High Court. Stanisław Kania
Stanisław Kania (; 8 March 1927 – 3 March 2020) was a Polish communist politician. Life and career Kania joined the Polish Workers' Party in April 1945 when the Germans were driven out by the Red Army and Polish Communists began to take control of the country. He partook in campaigns organised by the party, such as the Volunteer Reserve of the Citizens' Militia and the national referendum in 1946. He became deputy representative of the constituency for Jasielski. In February 1947 he was elected chairman of the ZWM board in Jaslo. Then in December he was appointed head of the Rural Youth Department in Rzeszow. In 1948, at the age of 21 he was elected as delegate to the unification congress of the Polish United Workers Party. Wojciech Kania (b. in Łodygowice, d. in Bielsko-Biała) – major of Polish Armed Forces in the West, promoted to the rank of podpułkownik after the war. Kania was a son of Józef and Katarzyna (née Duraj). In 1932 he graduated from gymnasium (now I Liceum Ogólnokształcące im. Mikołaja Kopernika w Bielsku-Białej) in Bielsko-Biała and joined the military service.
