Kanhai is a midsize village near Sushant Lok. It lies in Gurgaon Gurgaon (pronunciation: ʊɽɡãːw, officially named Gurugram (pronunciation: ʊɾʊɡɾaːm, is a city located in the northern Indian state of Haryana. Kanhai Chitrakar
} Kanhai Chitrakar was an Indian artist and painter, credited with the revival of the heritage painting discipline of ''Kanhai Art'', a method of painting where gold powder, gold leaves and gem stones are used. Kanhai Chitrakar was born in Vrindavan, in Mathura district, in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. His career started as an art director for the renowned filmmaker Guru Dutt, but later he returned to Vrindavan where he set up his studio, working in Kanhai art. The studio have since grown to become ''Kanhai Art Works'' where he and his two sons, Krishn Kanhai and Govind Kanhai, worked producing art works. Krishna is a recipient of the Padma Shri award and Gobind has received the Uttar Pradesh State Ratna Award. Krishn Kanhai, born on 21 August 1961, is an Indian artist and painter, specialist in portrait, realistic, contemporary paintings and on lord Radha-Krishna theme paintings. A Padmshri awardee, Kanhai is described as an artist with the midas touch. Introduction Krishn Kanhai is a master in contemporary, portrait as well as traditional gold painting. He has, however, not confined himself to the traditional alone but has also introduced certain significant techniques of his own that makes the canvas aesthetically appealing and spiritually rich. He started painting on folk themes while still in his teens during 1976 and gradually came to evolve a style of his own, which bore his personal stamp. Rohan Kanhai
Rohan Babulal Kanhai (born 26 December 1935) is a Guyanese former cricketer of Tamil Indo-Guyanese origin , who represented the West Indies in 79 Test matches. He is widely considered to be one of the best batsmen of the 1960s. Kanhai featured in several great West Indian teams, playing alongside Sir Garfield Sobers, Roy Fredericks, Lance Gibbs, Clive Lloyd, and Alvin Kallicharran among others. C. L. R. James wrote in the ''New World'' journal that Kanhai was "the high peak of West Indian cricketing development", and praised his "adventuresome" attitude. Kanhai was part of the West Indian team that won the inaugural, 1975 Cricket World Cup. ''Kanhaiya'' is a 1959 Hindi film produced by Sant Singh Pachhi and directed by Om Prakash. The film stars Raj Kapoor, Nutan and Lalita Pawar. The music was by Shankar Jaikishan. "Ruk Ja O Jane Wali", "Yad Aayi Adhi Rat Ko" and "Mujhe Mere Hal Par Chod Do.." are three memorable Mukesh songs related to this movie. Of these popular songs, "Ruk Ja O Jane Wali" became famous for its filming as it was sung for a bottle of local alcohol, with which a shot of Nutan roaming are also inserted to create an illusion as if it was sung for her.
