Kandhamal district is a district in the state of Odisha, India. The district headquarters of the district is Phulbani. Phulbani is a municipality and administrative headquarters of Kandhamal district in the state of Odisha in India. Daringbadi
Daringbadi is a hill station in Kandhmal district of Odisha state in eastern India. Widely known as " Kashmir of Odisha", (for its climatic similarity), it is situated at a height of 915 metres and is a popular tourist destination. Back in the days of the British rule, there was a British officer named Daring Saheb who was in charge of this place. The Biju Janata Dal (; BJD) is a regional political party in the Indian state of Odisha founded and led by Naveen Patnaik, the current Chief Minister of Odisha and the son of former Chief Minister of Odisha Biju Patnaik, after whom the party is named.
