Kandhakottai
''Kandhakottai'' is a 2009 Indian Tamil-language action film directed by S. Sakthivel, starring Nakul and Poorna, whilst Sampath Raj and Santhanam play supporting roles. The music was composed by Dhina. The film released on 19 December 2009 to average reviews. Plot The film is about Siva, who hates love and those who are into such relationships, and even strives to separate couples. On the other hand, Pooja, a girl in Nagercoil, is the opposite of Siva, and takes risks to unite lovers. When Siva's sister Girija falls in love with Poorna's cousin, the two dissimilar characters meet. And when Siva sings ''Eppadi Ennul Kadhal Vandhadhu'', they fall in love. But a man in Nagercoil kills himself when Pooja reveals that she is in love with Siva. Now his father Annachi is infuriated with the girl and murders her relatives. Nakul (actor)
Nakkhul Jaidev is an Indian actor and playback singer who works in Tamil cinema. He debuted as one of the lead actors in the 2003 film ''Boys (2003 film), Boys'' directed by S. Shankar. He sang his first song in the soundtrack album for ''Anniyan'' (2005). Career 2003–2009: Beginning Nakul was just 19 years old when he was chosen for the part of Juju in Shankar's coming-of-age film ''Boys (2003 film), Boys'' (2003). His family had initially sent some pictures of his elder brother Mayur to Shankar's office, but after seeing Nakkhul in one of the pictures, Shankar approached him to portray a leading role alongside an ensemble cast of newcomers. Bala Singh
Bala Singh (7 May 195227 November 2019) was an Indian actor who appeared in Tamil language films. After making his debut in Nassar's '' Avatharam'' (1995), he appeared as the antagonist in over a hundred films. Early life and career Bala Singh was born in Kaliyakkavilai, near Marthandam in Kanyakumari District. Bala Singh initially began his career featuring in stage plays and trained with the National School of Drama, before being handed his first film role in Nassar's '' Avatharam'' (1995). He played the role of the chief antagonist, Baasi, an expelled troupe member and won critical acclaim for his performance in the film. Guru Sishyan (2010 Film)
''Guru Sishyan'' () is a 2010 Tamil-language action comedy film directed by Sakthi Chidambaram. It stars Sathyaraj and Sundar C. in the lead roles. The title was taken from the 1988 film of the same name. Plot Guru (Sathyaraj) is a slimy moneylender in Rajapalayam, whom everybody including his assistants (Raj Kapoor) hates him. Eeti ( Sundar C.) a smart alec soon becomes his constant companion. Yugabharathi
Yugabharathi is a Tamil poet and lyricist. His birth name was "Santhanam Desan" and he was known as "Santhanam" by his family and friends. During the early 1990s when he began writing poems for magazines he started using the pen name "Yugabharathi" in honour of the great Tamil poet Subramanya Bharathi, commonly known as Mahakavi Bharithiyar.
