The Kampala Southern Bypass Highway is a proposed four-lane, dual carriage highway in the Central Region of Uganda, connecting, Bweyogerere, in the Wakiso District, to Munyonyo in the Makindye Division of Kampala, the largest city and capital of Uganda. Location The road would start at Bweyogerere on the Kampala–Jinja Expressway, near Mandela National Stadium at Namboole. It would pass through Butabika, Luzira, and Kyeyitabya, to end at Munyonyo, where it would join the southern spur of the Entebbe–Kampala Expressway. Bweyogerere
Bweyogerere is one of the six townships or wards that constitute Kira Municipality in Wakiso District in southern central Uganda. The other five wards are Kimwaanyi, Kira, Kireka, Kirinnya and Kyaliwajjala. Mandela National Stadium
The Mandela National Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Uganda. It is named after the South African then-President of South Africa, President and Internal resistance to apartheid, anti-apartheid icon, Nelson Mandela. The Kampala Northern Bypass Highway, often referred to as the Northern Bypass, is a road in Uganda. It forms a semicircle across the northern suburbs of Kampala, Uganda's capital and largest city. The road was constructed to relieve traffic congestion within the city center, allowing cross-country traffic to bypass the city's downtown area. Entebbe–Kampala Expressway
The Entebbe–Kampala Expressway, also known as the "Kampala–Entebbe Expressway" or the "Entebbe–Kampala Highway", is a four-lane toll highway in the Central Region, Uganda, Central Region of Uganda. The highway links Entebbe International Airport, the country's largest civilian and military airport, to Kampala, the country's capital and largest metropolitan area. The Kampala–Jinja Expressway, also known as the Jinja–Kampala Expressway, is a proposed four-lane toll highway in Uganda, linking Kampala, the capital and largest city of Uganda, with the city of Jinja in the Eastern Region of Uganda.
