Kamothe
Kamothe is a node of Navi Mumbai which is developed and maintained by CIDCO. Kamothe is located on the Sion Panvel Highway. It is the third node after Panvel and Kalamboli towards Mumbai. Location The site of Kamothe adjoins the Central Business District of Belapur (CBD Belapur) of Navi Mumbai and is surrounded by Kharghar in its north, Taloja in north-east, Kalamboli in its east and Panvel in its south. The western region of Kamothe is a wet land area with enormous mangroves. Characteristics Kamothe is divided into 48 Sectors. These sectors are evenly divided which makes this area more spacious . Kamothe has some great infrastructure facilities and it is growing fast as population in this area has grown as compared to 5 years back. Navi Mumbai (), is a planned city situated on the west coast of the Indian subcontinent, located in the Konkan division of Maharashtra state, on the mainland of India. Sion Panvel Highway
The Sion Panvel Expressway is a 25 km Indian highway located entirely in the state of Maharashtra, that connects Sion in Mumbai with Panvel, via Navi Mumbai. It is one of the busiest and most important roads in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) and connects Mumbai with the city of Pune. The National Highway 4 and Mumbai-Pune Expressway begin at the eastern end of the expressway, at Kalamboli junction, near Panvel. The highway is also used by vehicles traveling towards Mumbai from Konkan and Goa. As of September 2014, the stretch of the highway east of Vashi Bridge within the city of Navi Mumbai has been fully widened and concretized to 10 lanes (5 lanes in each direction). Raigad District
Raigad district (Marathi pronunciation: Help:IPA/Marathi, [ɾaːjɡəɖ]), previously Colaba fort, Colaba district, is a district in the Konkan division of Maharashtra, India. Kharghar is a node of Navi Mumbai and it is a suburb under Panvel Municipal Corporation. It is situated at the northernmost tip of Raigad district. It was developed by the City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO). Kharghar is now administered by recently established Panvel Municipal Corporation.
