Kamil Łączyński
Kamil Łączyński (born 17 April 1989) is a Polish basketball player for Anwil Włocławek of the Polish Basketball League. Standing at 1.83 m (6 ft 0 in), he usually plays as point guard. Career Łączyński started his career in 2005, with Polonia Warszawa. In the following years, he would play for AZS Koszalin, Rosa Radom and Kutno. On 4 June 2018, Łączyński won his first PLK title with Włocławek, after defeating Stal Ostrów Wielkopolski 65–73 in Game 6 of the finals. He was named the PLK Finals MVP after averaging 10.8 points and 4.8 assists over the six games in the series. On August 22, 2019, he signed with Śląsk Wrocław of the Polish Basketball League. Łączyński averaged 10.3 points and 6.4 assists per game. On September 2, 2020, he signed with Start Lublin. The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the five Basketball positions, positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position. Point guards are expected to run the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. Above all, the point guard must understand and accept their coach's game plan; in this way, the position can be compared to a quarterback in American football. 2018–19 Basketball Champions League
The 2018–19 Basketball Champions League was the third season of the Basketball Champions League (BCL), a European-wide professional basketball competition for clubs, that was launched by FIBA. The competition began in September 2018, with the qualifying rounds, and concluded in May 2019. It featured 19 domestic champions including two from France and Italy. The Final Four was held in the Sportpaleis in Antwerp on 3 and 5 May 2019. Virtus Bologna won its first BCL championship. As such, the team qualified for the 2020 FIBA Intercontinental Cup. Stal Ostrów Wielkopolski, also known as Arged BM Slam Stal Ostrów Wielkopolski for sponsorship reasons, is a Polish basketball team, based in Ostrów Wielkopolski. They play in the Polish Basketball League (PLK) since its promotion back in 2015. The club won the Polish national championship in 2021 and the Polish Cup in 2019 and 2022. Since then, Stal has also been active at the European stage in the Basketball Champions League and FIBA Europe Cup. The home arena of the team is the Arena Ostrów.
