Kamikyokutachi
is the first studio album, second album overall, by the Japanese idol group AKB48. It was released in Japan on April 7, 2010, and contains 16 songs, 14 of which had been previously released as singles. The album topped the weekly Oricon Albums Chart The Oricon Albums Chart is the Japanese music industry standard albums popularity chart issued daily, weekly, monthly and yearly by Oricon. AKB48 (pronounced ''A.K.B. Forty-Eight'') is a Japanese idol girl group named after the Akihabara (''Akiba'' for short) area in Tokyo, where the group's theater is located. AKB48's producer, Yasushi Akimoto, wanted to form a girl group with its own theater and performing daily so fans could always see them live (which is not the case with usual pop groups giving occasional concerts and seen on television). Sumire Satō
is a Japanese freelance creator and former idol who is formerly associated with the girl group AKB48 and later transferred to its sister group SKE48. In 2016, she starred in a live-action film based on Sanami Suzuki's manga adaptation of ''The Little Match Girl''. Career Satō was a finalist in Morning Musume's Happy 8 Ki Audition. She joined AKB48 on December 20, 2008 as a seventh-generation member of its ''Kenkyusei'' (trainees). Sakura No Shiori
is the 15th single by Japanese idol girl group AKB48; it was released on February 17, 2010. The title track is a school graduation song. The song was used as the theme song to the AKB48-related drama ''Majisuka Gakuen'', which stars Atsuko Maeda and many members from AKB48 and its sister groups. In its first week, the song sold 318,000 copies - the biggest opening sales for a female group single since Morning Musume's " Mr. Moonlight (Ai no Big Band)" in July 2001. The song has been certified platinum for physical sales by the RIAJ. Composition The song is composed by Hiroshi Uesugi and written by Yasushi Akimoto. is the 13th major single by the Japanese idol group AKB48, released on August 26, 2009. It was the first AKB48's single which participating members were chosen by election.
