Kamgar Kisan Paksha
The Kamgar Kisan Paksha ('Worker Peasant Party') was a political party in Bombay State, India. The party was formed by a group of dissidents from the Peasants and Workers Party of India in November 1951, just before the 1951-1952 elections. The founders of Kamgar Kisan Paksha wanted closer cooperation with the Communist Party of India Communist Party of India (CPI) is the oldest Marxist–Leninist communist party in India and one of the nine national parties in the country. Bombay State was a large Indian state created at the time of India's Independence, with other regions being added to it in the succeeding years. Nana Patil
Nana Patil, popularly known as ''Krantisinh'' ( lit. 'revolutionary lion'), was an Indian independence activist (freedom fighter) and Member of Parliament for the Communist Party of India representing Beed District of Marathwada region. He was a source of inspiration for the people. Earlier, he had been a founder of the revolutionary Prati-sarkar formed in Yedemachindra Sangli district of west Maharashtra. Krantisinh Nana Patil established a parallel government in the district of Satara. He died on 6 December 1976. British Raj period Nana Patil was born on 3 August 1900 at Yedemachindra, Maharashtra. His full name was Nana Ramchandra Pisal and he was a founding member of the Hindustan Republican Association who went underground between 1929 and 1932. Lal Nishan Party (Red Flag Party, LNP) was a communist political party in the Indian state of Maharashtra. It was founded in 1965. The LNP's main work was trade union activism. The trade union of the party was called Sarva Shramik Sangh (SSS). The party publication was called ''Nave Parva''. Earlier, SSS published a Marathi daily newspaper from Pune called ''Shramik Vichar''. During the 1980s, the LNP developed a close cooperation with Kamgar Aghadi. In 1988, a split occurred when a hardline section, critical of the Perestroika, broke away and formed the Lal Nishan Party (Leninvadi).
