Kamchatka Flotilla
The Kamchatka Military Flotilla ( rus, Камчатская флотилия, r=Kamchatskaya flotiliya) is a flotilla of the Russian Navy. On December 14, 1849, in accordance with the Decree of Emperor Nicholas I, the Okhotsk military flotilla was transferred to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky in Kamchatka. Thus December 14 became marked as the celebratory "Day" of the flotilla/NEGTF. Formed in 1945, the Kamchatka Flotilla of diverse forces was reorganized during the 1960s; on 15 October 1979 the Kamchatka Flotilla was formed (or reformed). In March 1998 the Northeastern Group of Troops and Forces was created from the Kamchatka Flotilla. It was based on the Kamchatka Peninsula and had responsibility for a coastal zone of the Pacific Ocean. On April 30, 1975, the flotilla was awarded the Order of the Red Banner. Nikolai Vinogradov
Nikolai Ignatevich Vinogradov () ( – 27 April 1979) was an officer of the Soviet Navy who rose to the rank of admiral. Born in 1905, Vinogradov joined the navy in 1925 and graduated from various naval courses to serve in staff and seagoing positions. Specialising in submarine warfare, he commanded several submarines, before taking command of a submarine brigade during the Soviet-Finnish War. By the German invasion of Russia in 1941, Vinogradov was in command of the submarine forces of the Northern Fleet. Soviet submarines scored a number of success during the war, reflecting on Vinogradov's organisational skills, and various staff appointments and promotions followed. He holds the rank of admiral, and is currently serving as Commander in Chief of the Baltic Fleet. Admiral Aleksandr Viktorovich Vitko (russian: Александр Викторович Витко; born September 13, 1961) is a retired officer of the Russian Navy, and a former commander of the Russian Black Sea Fleet between April 2013 and June 2018. Konstantin Semyonovich Sidenko (russian: Константин Семёнович Сиденко; born 2 February 1953) is a Russian admiral and a recipient of Order of Military Merit and Order for Service to the Homeland in the Armed Forces of the USSR. Biography Sidenko was born on 2 February 1953 in Khabarovsk. He became a student at the Pacific Higher Naval School in 1970 and graduated from Pacific Higher Naval School which was honourably named after S.O. Makarov in 1975.
