Kamalia ( pa, , ur, ) is a city in the Toba Tek Singh District of Punjab, Pakistan. It is the administrative center of Kamalia Tehsil. It is the 42nd most populous city of Pakistan and has a considerable more population compared to the nearby cities of Rajana, Chichawatni and Pir Mahal. Location Kamalia is bounded in the south by River Ravi and Chichawatni, in the west by Pir Mahal, in the north by Rajana and Mamu Kanjan, and in the east by Harappa and Sahiwal. Shorkot ( ur, , Basti starabad=), ( pa, ), is a city in Punjab, Pakistan. It is also a capital city of Shorkot Tehsil in Jhang district. It is located at 30°30'N 72°24'E with an altitude of 131 metres (433 ft). The city is famous for the tombs of Sufis Sultan Bahoo, Darbar Hazrat Peer Syed Akbar Ali Shah Gilani, Syed Bahadur Ali Shah, Shah Mehmood Ghazi (also known as "Ghazi Pir") and Syed Mehboob Alam Shah Gillani. The tomb of Gillani is in the centre of the town. He was born in Emperor Jahangir's era and died in 1079 (Hijri), during the rule of Emperor Aurangzeb. Toba Tek Singh
Toba Tek Singh ( pnb, , ur, ) is a city and capital of Toba Tek Singh District in the Pakistani province of Punjab. It is surrounded by cities of Gojra, Kamalia, Rajana, Pir Mahal and Shorkot. History The city and district is named after a Sikh religious figure Tek Singh. Legend has it that Mr. Singh, a kind hearted man, served water and provided shelter to the worn out and thirsty travelers passing by a small Pond ("toba" in Punjabi) which eventually was called Toba Tek Singh, and the surrounding settlement acquired the same name. British Raj Toba Tek Singh was developed by the British toward the end of the 19th Century when a canal system was built. Gojra ( Punjabi and ur, ), the administrative capital of Gojra Tehsil, is the city of Toba Tek Singh District in the Punjab province of Pakistan. Gojra is from Faisalabad, from Lahore and north of Toba Tek Singh. Founded in 1896 during the British colonial period, Gojra was the commercial centre of lands which had recently come under cultivation, and was known for its "mandi" (market) for cash crops. It is the 50th largest city of Pakistan by population according to the 2017 census. History Pre-Independence Gojra city was established in 1896, when the colonisation of Faisalabad began. The Bronze Age Harappan civilisation, now more often called the Indus Valley Civilisation, is named after the site, which takes its name from a modern village near the former course of the Ravi River, which now runs to the north. Mamu Kanjan (also spelled Mamukanjan) is a town of Tandlianwala Tehsil in Faisalabad District in Punjab, Pakistan. It was once known as Sandianwala. Later its name was changed to the name of the saint Peer Mamu Kanjan. His tomb is located at Bangla Road. River Ravi
The Ravi River () is a transboundary river crossing northwestern India and eastern Pakistan. It is one of five rivers associated with the Punjab region. Under the Indus Waters Treaty of 1960, the waters of the Ravi and two other rivers were allocated to India.
