Kalyvia Myrtountion
Kalyvia Myrtountion (Greek: Καλύβια Μυρτουντίων) is a village in the municipal unit of Vartholomio, Elis, Greece. In 2011 its population was 139. It is situated in a flat, rural area, on the right bank of the river Pineios, 4 km from the Ionian Sea. It is 1 km southeast of Vartholomio and 3 km west of Gastouni. In the local government reform under the Capodistrian Plan in 1997 it became a part of the municipality of Vartholomio. The patron saint of Kalyvia is Saint John Chrysostom. Skiathos ( el, Σκιάθος, , ; grc, Σκίαθος, ; and ) is a small Greek island in the northwest Aegean Sea. Skiathos is the westernmost island in the Northern Sporades group, east of the Pelion peninsula in Magnesia on the mainland, and west of the island of Skopelos. Geography The island has a north to southwestern axis and is about long and wide on average. The coastline is indented with inlets, capes and peninsulas. The southeast and southwest parts have gentler slopes and that is where most settlements and facilities are located. Kalyvia ( el, Καλύβια, ) is an Aromanians, Aromanian (Vlachs, Vlach) village of the Elassona, Elassona municipality.
