Kalyoncu Cabinet
Kalyoncu cabinet was the government of Northern Cyprus between 16 July 2015 and 16 April 2016, consisting of 10 ministers formed by a coalition of the Republican Turkish Party (CTP) and National Unity Party (UBP), under prime minister Ömer Kalyoncu Ömer Soyer Kalyoncu (born on 16 October 1950) is a Turkish Cypriot politician who was the Prime Minister of Northern Cyprus between 16 July 2015 and April 2016. All ministers from the UBP were MPs, while the CTP initially had three from outside the parliament. Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu (born 1953) is a Turkish Cypriot politician. He served as a member of the Assembly of the Republic representing the Lefkoşa District between 1998 and 2018. During this time, he was a member of the National Unity Party (UBP) between 1998 and 2010, serving as the leader of the party between 2006 and 2008. Faiz Sucuoğlu (born 27 August 1961) is a Turkish Cypriot politician who was the prime minister of Northern Cyprus from 5 November 2021 to 12 May 2022. Biography Sucuoğlu was born in Polis on 27 August 1961. His father, Mehmet Salih Sucuoğlu (died 2018), later served as the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Settlement in Northern Cyprus. Emine Çolak (born 9 March 1958) is a Turkish Cypriot lawyer who served as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Northern Cyprus in the Kalyoncu cabinet between July 2015 and April 2016. Early life Çolak was born on 9 March 1958 in Nicosia. She studied law at SOAS, University of London and graduated in 1979, earning the right to work as a barrister in 1980. The Republican Turkish Party ( tr, Cumhuriyetçi Türk Partisi, CTP) is a social-democratic political party in Northern Cyprus. The party was founded in 1970 by Ahmet Mithat Berberoğlu, a lawyer, in opposition to the leadership of Fazıl Küçük and Rauf Denktaş. On 30 June 2008, the Republican Turkish Party became a consultative member of the Socialist International (voted in by all members except the Greek Cypriot Movement for Social Democracy).
