Ahwan Sebastian
Ahwan Sebastian ( - 2 March 2011) was a playwright, director, music director and actor in Malayalam. Within a career of more than five decades, he has directed six stage plays, and has given music to more than twenty plays and two films (''Love Marriage'' and ''Karutha Pennu''). He has also scripted and directed a film ''Kalopasana'' (1981). He is best known as the writer and director of the stage play ''Devasutram'' which ran in Kerala theatres for many years. Other notable scripts include ''Upasana'', ''Brahmasuran'', ''Chooshakamanthram'' and ''Anaswaramanthram''. His last play, ''Kabandhangal'', was released in 1984. He established his own professional drama group called "Musical Theatres" in 1958. He died on 2 March 2011 in Kozhikode at the age of 77. Venu Nagavally (16 April 1949 – 10 September 2010) was an Indian actor, screenwriter and director best known for his work in Malayalam cinema, Malayalam film industry. He has directed 12 films. Son of writer, commentator, and broadcaster Nagavally R. S. Kurup, Venu has acted in about fifty films, directed films such as ''Sukhamo Devi'' (1986), ''Sarvakalashala'' (1987), ''Lal Salam (1990 film), Lal Salam'' (1990), and ''Aye Auto'' (1990), and scripted the commercially successful ''Kilukkam'' (1991). (born 5 January 1951), better known by his stage name Jagathy Sreekumar or simply Jagathy, is an Indian actor, director and playback singer, who has appeared in over 1500 Malayalam films in a career spanning almost four decades. Actress Ann Augustine is his daughter. Personal Life Augustine was born on 30 July 1955 to Kunnumpurath Mathew and Rosi at Kodencheri, Kozhikode.
