Kalle Nurmela (15 January 1882 – 27 August 1941) was a Finnish land surveyor, farmer and politician, born in Pudasjärvi. He was a member of the Parliament of Finland from 1913 to 1919, representing the Agrarian League. Pudasjärvi
Pudasjärvi () is a town and a municipality of Finland. It is located in the province of Oulu and is part of the Northern Ostrobothnia region, northeast of the city of Oulu and southwest of the town of Kuusamo. The town has a population of () and covers an area of of which is water. The population density is . Pudasjärvi is by area the second largest town in Finland (as of 2006, Rovaniemi is the largest) and one of the largest in the world. Pudasjärvi is famed for its nature, and is the home of the southernmost fell area in Finland, Syöte. The Parliament of Finland ( ; ) is the unicameral and supreme legislature of Finland, founded on 9 May 1906. In accordance with the Constitution of Finland, sovereignty belongs to the people, and that power is vested in the Parliament. The Centre Party ( fi, Suomen Keskusta , ''Kesk''; sv, Centern i Finland), officially the Centre Party of Finland, is an agrarian political party in Finland.
